Work principle of Electric Winch

How does the electric winch work? Generally, electric winch transforms electric power into mechanical power through motor, where the rotor of motor runs and produces the power which is outputted and then goes through the brake, and the reducer reduces the speed to rotate the reel. The reel winds the wire rope and passes through pulley block to make the hook lift the load, and transforms mechanical energy into mechanical work for material handling, such as, the transportation, load and unload of heavy weights.
